I am reviving and reinventing this blog.
Before, I planned to document here my journey through the academe as I pursued higher learning. That didn't work out and I also stopped updating this with education-related news.
Now... I am reinventing it as my homeschooling blog as I officially start with Yakee next week on a Waldorf curriculum... which should explain the template since I hope to raise my boys as naturally as possible.
There would probably be a lot of overlap with my Mom blog and our Family blog but that's ok... they are all still MY blogs anyway.

If Not DE, Homeschooling Then
I have dropped my subjects because I cannot manage a specific time for all the studying, and I hate not being able to give my all to the assignments and discussions.
Anywa, if mastering DE right now isn't for me, I can at least still prepae myself for homeschooling my kids.
A good first step is subscribing to freebies from HomeschoolFreebieOfTheDay.com. Even if you don't intend to homeschool your kids, am sure your kids will still benefit from all the wonderful educational materials made downloadable there for free.

Respond to Change
"It is not the strongest of species that survives, not the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change" (Charles Darwin)
I am close to giving up and just dropping out of school because of poor time management. My son is really leaving me exhausted and preoccupied during the day that I cannot study at night anymore, and I am feeling sh!tty about my output. It's not that am being grade-conscious, but it sucks knowing you're not putting your best foot forward in your submissions.
And I have yet to make some headway with my book reports.
But maybe i'll still survive. It might mean settling for the lowest passing grade because all my requirements will be passed late and I won't exactly ace my exams... but surely that's still better than just quitting?

School: Urgent and Important
I's September already and I have yet to make some headway in my book reports and term paper, due on September 20.
What's more, I have seriously missed a lot of assignments and discussions. I am still struggling with time management. And I get confused if i'm just using my son as an excuse, or it's really important that I attend to him, play with him, get involved in whatever he does during the day.
Schoolwork is both urgent (because I left it late) and important right now. I have to meet my deadlines, not just for the sake of meeting them, but because it's important that I maximize my resources. I dipped into the one-income family fund for this semester's tuition. I cannot afford to waste the money!
And I am starting this masterals at 30, a little late by some people's standards. So I shouldn't be wasting time either.
